Endeavor Health is seeking an MRI Technologist II for Swedish Hospital in Chicago, IL. This full-time position involves performing MRI exams, preparing patients, and reviewing images to ensure quality, with hours Monday–Friday 1pm–9:30pm plus on-call.

Education: ARRT MR or ARMRIT, CPR certification; Radiology associate degree. Requires prior MRI experience; strong communication and customer service skills preferred.

$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

MRI Technologist II

Position Highlights:

• Position: MRI Technologist II
• Location: Swedish Hospital
• Full Time/Part Time: Full Time
• Hours: Monday-Friday 1pm-9:30pm + call
• Required Travel: No

What you will do:

• Perform MRI exams for use by physicians in diagnosing and treating patient illness and/or injury, in accordance with departmental standards, policies and procedures
• Prepare patients for exam: obtain and record history, explain procedures, position patients and ensure their comfort
• Review MRI images to ensure optimum quality
• Assist with patient/family participation in post-procedural care for all age groups and provide resource information, as directed

What you will need:

• Education: Certification or Associate’s degree in Radiology from an accredited program
• Certification: CPR required, ARRT- MR or ARMRIT
• License: IEMA (not required)
• Experience: Previous MRI Technologist experience required
• Preferred Skills: Excellent interpersonal, communication and customer service skills required
