Job summary

Endeavor Health is seeking an MRI Technologist II for per diem shifts at Edward Hospital in Naperville, IL. The role entails operating MRI equipment, preparing patients, and delivering high-quality images for physicians’ diagnoses.

Responsibilities include positioning patients, administering contrast as needed, and explaining procedures to reduce anxiety and build patient trust. Per diem hours offer flexible scheduling with on-call and holiday considerations.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• Minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher preferred.
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required.
• Illinois IEMA licensure preferred.
• Current CPR (BLS) certification.
• MRI experience or radiology experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images per radiologist directions and procedures.
• Position patients, administer contrast as directed, and ensure high quality exams.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

Hourly Pay Range:

$36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate’s expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

Position Highlights:

SIGN-ON BONUS: $1,000

• Position: MRI Technologist II - Per Diem
• Locations: Edward Hospital, Naperville, IL
• Per Diem/PRN - As Needed
• Hours: As Needed for available shifts, as needed for on-call, weekends, and holidays

What you will do:

Operates MRI equipment to obtain images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist’s directions and established procedures. Positions patients administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high quality exam.Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice.Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need:

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred:A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified
• Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience???
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
