Endeavor Health seeks an MRI Technologist II for Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. This part-time role offers 20 hours weekly with Friday through Sunday mid-shifts/evenings and a $5,000 sign-on bonus.

You will operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images and ensure high-quality exams per Radiologist directions. Responsibilities include patient positioning, contrast administration as needed, and delivering excellent patient care while communicating clearly to reduce anxiety.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED
• Associate’s degree or higher preferred
• ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification required
• IEMA licensure preferred
• Current CPR (BLS) certification
• Prior MRI or radiology experience preferred
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot software issues

Hourly Pay Range: $36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What You Will Do

Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures. Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam. Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice. Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What You Will Need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified
• Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
