Endeavor Health is seeking an MRI Technologist II at Elmhurst Hospital in Elmhurst, IL. This part-time role (20 hours weekly) includes a $5,000 sign-on bonus and on-call responsibilities. You will operate MRI equipment, position patients, administer contrast, and ensure quality exams while delivering compassionate patient care.

Applicants should have ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certification, a preferred associate degree, CPR certification, and strong computer skills. Prior MRI experience is a plus.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED
• Preferred: Associate’s degree or higher
• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT certified
• Preferred: IEMA licensure
• Current CPR (BLS) certified by American Heart Association
• Preferred: MRI or radiology experience
• Strong computer skills

Hourly Pay Range: $36.42 - $56.45 - The hourly pay rate offered is determined by a candidate's expertise and years of experience, among other factors.

What you will do

• Operates MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images for use by physicians in the diagnosis and treatment of pathologies, according to Radiologist's directions and established procedures.
• Positions patients, administers injections of contrast media and manipulates images to ensure a high-quality exam.
• Delivers and ensures customer service in all aspects to job, being attentive of eye contact, facial/body expressions and tone of voice.
• Explains procedure to patient, giving opportunity for questions to reduce anxiety and promote trust.

What you will need

• High School Diploma or GED
• Preferred: A minimum of an Associate’s Degree or higher
• Required: ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT (American Registry of MRI Technologists) certified
• Preferred: IEMA (Illinois Emergency Management Agency) licensure
• Current CPR Certification (BLS) issued by American Heart Association
• Preferred: Prior MRI experience or other radiology experience
• Strong computer skills
• Ability to troubleshoot problems as related to the software
