Qualifications

• ARRT or NMTCB certification required for MRI (and MR certification, if applicable).
• Graduate from Specialty Training Program in Radiologic Technology; Bachelor’s degree preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures as prescribed by a licensed practitioner.
• Ensure patient identification, exam preparation, and proper documentation while maintaining confidentiality.
• Apply ALARA principles to maximize patient safety and image quality.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers during imaging.
• Evaluate image quality and verify data transfer and archival storage.
