Job summary

Geisinger is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform MRI procedures and support diagnostic imaging in a clinical setting. You will prepare patients, operate MRI equipment, and follow protocols to ensure accuracy and safety.

Applicants should hold ARRT, NMTCB, or ARMRIT certification and obtain ARRT-R/ARRT-MR or NMTCB/ARMRIT within 24 months if not already certified. A $20,000 sign-on bonus may be offered to eligible applicants.

Qualifications

• ALARA principles knowledge.
• Strong focus on patient safety and care.
• Experience educating or supervising students or staff is a plus.

Responsibilities

• Ensure correct patient identification and exam preparation.
• Apply imaging protocols and optimize factors for safety and quality.
• Assist with or perform MRI procedures as prescribed.
• Educate and monitor students and other health care providers.
• Maintain MRI safety and participate in safety processes.
