Job summary

Lutheran Health Network is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform routine MRI procedures that ensure patient safety and produce high-quality diagnostic images. This role includes operating and maintaining MRI equipment, managing supplies, and providing excellent patient care throughout the process.

The ideal candidate will have a background in Radiologic Technology, possess strong communication skills, and detail orientation. Licenses required include ARRT and BCLS. This position involves collaboration with healthcare professionals to achieve optimal patient outcomes.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program required.
  • 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist required.

Responsibilities

  • Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
  • Review MRI patient questionnaires to identify potential contraindications.
  • Operate MRI and processing equipment, adhering to safety guidelines.
  • Educate and prepare patients for MRI exams, addressing questions.
  • Document and correlate clinical history with exam findings.
  • Maintain inventory of MRI supplies and equipment.
