Job summary

The Lennar Medical Foundation in Coral Gables is seeking an MRI Technologist I to perform complex MRI procedures and obtain high-quality diagnostic images under supervision of a Chief Technologist.

The position requires strong patient communication, meticulous adherence to MRI protocols, safety standards, and the ability to verify orders, position patients, document procedures, and assist radiologists as needed. BLS and ARRT certification are required or within 1 year of hire.

Qualifications

• High school diploma or equivalent required.
• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology/Diagnostic Imaging program.
• BLS certification required.
• ARRT registration and ARRT certification in primary modality or within one year of hire.
• State of Florida General Radiographer license preferred.

Responsibilities

• Obtain and examine MRI orders and ensure appropriateness.
• Perform MRI procedures and acquire diagnostic images.
• Verify patient identity and educate the patient on the procedure.
• Maintain safety protocols and assist Radiologist during procedures.
• Document procedures and manage patient records in systems.
