LCMC Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform imaging procedures with professional autonomy and clinical judgment. You will select coils, adjust parameters, verify orders with radiologists, and ensure patient safety throughout MRI/MRA exams.

Responsibilities include calibrations, quality control, and maintaining equipment and work areas. Required: BLS CPR, ARMRIT/ARRT eligibility, and MRI certification within 2 years of hire. Variable hours in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Must have BLS/CPR certification.
• ARMRIT or ARRT registry eligibility required.
• MRI certification within 2 years of hire.

Responsabilités

• Performs MRI/MRA imaging with independence and diagnostic quality.
• Calibrates equipment daily and records results per protocol.
• Explains procedures to patients and answers questions to ease anxiety.
• Maintains equipment, room cleanliness and safety standards.
• Follows safety policies and administers contrast agents as needed.
