Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program required
• 0-2 years of clinical experience as a registered MRI Technologist required

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures according to physician orders and departmental protocols, ensuring high-quality diagnostic images.
• Review MRI patient questionnaires and histories to identify contraindications, ensuring safety during scans.
• Operate MRI and processing equipment per safety guidelines and protocols.
• Educate and prepare patients for MRI exams and address questions.
• Ensure MRI safety standards and verify readiness before entering scan areas.
• Document clinical history with exam findings for radiologist.
• Maintain MRI supplies and equipment inventory, ensuring sterility as required.
• Verify physician orders and patient identification prior to starting procedures.
• Collaborate with radiologists and healthcare team to optimize imaging results.
• Monitor and maintain MRI equipment functionality and report issues.
• Provide instructions and support to patients during and after exams.
• Perform other duties as assigned; maintain reliable attendance.
