Job summary

UVA Imaging in Charlottesville, VA seeks an experienced MRI Technologist for a full-time outpatient imaging role. You will perform routine and advanced MRI exams, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality images in a supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Associate's degree in Radiology or equivalent radiology program.
• ARRT or ARMIT registration with MR registry required on hire.
• Experience with MRI exams and safety protocols preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform routine and advanced MRI exams.
• Screen patients and follow MRI safety protocols.
• Operate MRI equipment safely and effectively.
• Administer contrast as appropriate.
• Monitor patients throughout their exams.
• Explain procedures and help patients feel comfortable.
• Produce high-quality diagnostic images.
• Work with radiologists and clinical team.
