Job summary

Cleveland Clinic Health System in Cleveland is expanding its Neuro Expansion MRI program with a new state-of-the-art facility. Join a collaborative team at Cleveland Clinic Main Campus to deliver high-quality MRI imaging for complex neurological conditions.

As an MRI Technologist I, you will perform MRI procedures, educate patients, and ensure safety, with an emphasis on clinical excellence and mentorship of Radiology staff.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology or equivalent ARRT pathway.
• ARMRIT Registered MRI Technologist in good standing.
• ARRT Registered Technologist in Radiography, Sonography, Radiation Therapy or Nuclear Medicine (R/T/S/N).
• Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT) through NMTCB or ARDMS/NMTCB pathways.
• Basic Life Support (BLS) through AHA/Red Cross.
• Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy and pathologic processes.

Responsibilities

• Acquire and review patient data to determine contraindication of MRI examination.
• Perform MRI procedures per protocol and conduct daily QA.
• Educate patients about MRI procedures, equipment and exams.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety during and after exams.
• Report malfunctions and observe equipment issues; coordinate with service.
• Maintain high equipment uptime for patient access.

Education

ARMRIT Registered MRI Technologist

ARRT Registered Technologist (R, S, T, or N)

Certified Nuclear Medicine Technologist (CNMT)

BLS Certification

Knowledge of cross-sectional anatomy
