Job summary

University Hospitals Pain Management in Cleveland, OH is seeking an MRI technologist to perform examinations and produce high-quality MRI images for diagnostic purposes. You will collaborate with radiologists and care teams to ensure excellent patient experiences while maintaining safety and compliance.

Responsibilities include patient-specific care, operating MRI equipment, maintaining a safe environment, and contributing to department operations.

Responsibilities

• Displays commitment to the mission of the hospital and its values
• Provides age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
• Performs MRI scans as directed by radiologist, and, once orientation and training are completed, independently conducts scans if ARRT-registered.
• Patient care during visit to MRI
• Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment
• Assures a safe and clean environment
• Maintains knowledge of technical skills
• Takes responsibility for self-development and supports a learning environment
• Demonstrates successful technical/patient skills by efficiently implementing special procedure technology in the MR area
• Uses administrative skills to contribute to the successful operation of the department
• Collaborates effectively and in a timely manner with co-workers and clinical staff
• Clear knowledge of modality specific equipment, computers, PACS, EMR and RIS.
