• Performs studies per protocol, positions coils, and sets scan sequences.
• Interviews patients to explain procedures with tact and courtesy.
• Ensures patient and staff safety and explains safety protocols.
• Trains MRI Technologist Trainees and MRI Technologists I in MRI procedures.
• May direct, check and train other MRI employees; orient new hires and students.
• Performs related duties as necessary.
• No supervisory responsibilities.
