Responsibilities include verifying orders, preparing patients, reviewing history, and maintaining equipment and radiology systems per protocol. Requires ARRT radiologic or nuclear medicine program graduate and CPR.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an ARRT-recognized radiologic or nuclear medicine program.
• MRI ARRT registry eligibility or ARMRIT program required; registry within 1 year of hire.
• CPR certification required.

Responsibilities

• Verify orders and clarify with Radiologist before exams.
• Prepare and position patients and explain procedures.
• Review medical history and correlate with exam results.
• Perform MRI scans and manage IV contrast administration.
• Maintain radiation safety and operate radiology computer systems.
