Job summary

Pen Bay Hospital in Maine is seeking an MRI Technologist I to join a collaborative team of three technologists in a newly renovated Philips MR suite.

Schedule is Monday–Friday 2:00–10:30pm with no call, offering a supportive, close-knit environment to work with advanced imaging technology.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
• Current state radiologic license required; MR certification eligible; must complete MRI certification within 12 months.
• Current BLS certification required or obtained within 30 days of start date.
• One year of relevant experience preferred, no experience required.

Responsibilities

• Perform basic MRI exams and procedures.
• Collaborate within a three-technologist team in a Philips MR suite.

Summary

The MRI Technologist I role performs basic MRI exams and procedures.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

1. Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Graduate of an MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program.
2. License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT--MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) MRI certification- eligible. Must complete advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of hire. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
3. Experience: No experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.
