Job summary

MaineHealth is seeking a Per Diem MRI Technologist to perform basic MRI exams and support the imaging team in meeting community needs. The role emphasizes flexibility, individual impact, and professional alignment with our care philosophy.

Required licenses and MRI certification eligibility are noted, with a plan to complete advanced MRI certification within one year. BLS must be current or obtained within 30 days of start date. Compensation reflects current pay ranges and benefits.

Qualifications

  • Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required.
  • MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program.
  • Current state Radiologic Technology license required; ARRT MR or ARMRIT MRI certification- eligible; must complete advanced MRI certification within one year of hire.
  • Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, And Abilities (KSAs)
  • Education: Graduate of an accredited school of Radiologic Technology required. Graduate of an MRI program preferred, or completion of a direct pathway program.
  • License/Certifications: Current applicable state(s) license in Radiologic Technology required. American Registry of Radiologic Technologist (ARRT--MR) or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologist (ARMRIT) MRI certification- eligible. Must complete advanced certification in MRI by ARRT or ARMRIT within one year of hire. Current BLS certification required or must be obtained within 30 days of start date.
  • Experience: No experience required; one year of relevant experience preferred.

The pay range for this position is $37.09to $50.17 per hour.
