Job summary

Hmixray is seeking an MRI Technologist to join a dedicated radiology team providing high-quality MRI examinations and excellent patient care. The role emphasizes patient safety, professional communication, and adherence to protocols in a fast-paced clinical setting.

The position is PRN to weekend coverage (Saturday and/or Sunday) from 8:00am to 3:30pm, with the potential for advancement within a collaborative healthcare environment dedicated to better patient outcomes.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification is required.
• State License in Diagnostic Radiologic Technology if applicable.
• BLS certification required.
• Venipuncture certificate may be required depending on state regulations.
• At least one year of diagnostic imaging experience is preferred.

Responsibilities

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Adjust TR, TE, flip angle, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other parameters to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through the exam process and address questions.

Schedule: PRN with weekend availability (Saturday and/or Sunday), 8:00am-3:30pm

You Will:

• Perform high quality MRI exams on incoming patients.
• Assure patient safety by adhering to company policies and established protocols.
• Administer contrast as needed, in a safe and effective manner.
• Understand and use TR, TE, flip angel, slice thickness, acquisitions, field of view and other adjustments and factors on the equipment in order to produce high quality images.
• Guide patients through this sometimes-difficult process by kindly talking them through the steps and answering their questions and concerns regarding exam procedures and process.
• Respond to physician questions and needs regarding patients.
• Demonstrates competency regarding the need to safeguard patient property and Patient Health Information.
• Safeguards any on site medications in accordance with Company policies, procedures and any legal requirements.
• Demonstrates respect for company property, including any cash and patient financial information on site or on patient portals.
• Is responsive to the needs of others by exhibiting and maintaining professional behavior toward patients and coworkers.
• Demonstrates respect for patient boundaries and cultural sensitivities during all interactions.
• Demonstrates ability to interact diplomatically and sympathetically with patients, their families, and the public in a clinical setting.

To Ensure Success In This Role, You Must Have:
