Job summary

Health First is hiring an MRI Technologist in Palm Bay, FL. The role involves operating MRI equipment to produce high-quality images, ensuring patient safety and comfort, and following imaging protocols.

Qualified candidates will screen patients for safety, position them for scans, and collaborate with radiologists and care teams to support accurate diagnoses. The job requires ARRT MR or ARMRIT/JRC certifications, Florida licensure where applicable, and BLS.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT/JRC certifications or equivalent.
• Florida Radiography licensure required for Radiology Technologists.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification required before start.
• Relocation assistance and a $20,000 hire-on bonus offered.

Responsibilities

• Operate MRI equipment to capture diagnostic images.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and document pertinent information.
• Position patients and ensure comfort and safety during scans.
• Maintain image quality and technical accuracy.
• Prepare and administer medications within scope as prescribed.
• Adhere to safety policies and regulatory standards.
• Educate new technologists and assist in protocol development.
