Health First is seeking an MRI Technologist to operate MRI systems, ensure patient safety and comfort, and produce high-quality scans for accurate diagnosis. You will follow imaging protocols, screen patients for safety, and coordinate with radiologists and care teams to optimize procedures.

Qualifications

• ARRT or ARMRIT MR certification required or eligible.
• Florida General Radiographer licensure (Radiology) required.
• AHA BLS Healthcare Provider certification or equivalent before start.
• Ability to work in a magnetic environment and handle on-call requirements.

Responsabilités

• Operate MRI equipment to acquire diagnostic images following protocols.
• Maintain patient safety, comfort, and effective communication throughout the procedure.
• Screen patients for MRI safety and document pre- and post-procedure information.
• Position patients, apply immobilization and protective equipment as needed.
• Produce and assess MR images for technical quality and accuracy.
• Administer medications within scope of practice as prescribed.
• Collaborate with radiologists and health teams to develop protocols.
• Ensure compliance with regulatory standards and Joint Commission/ACR guidelines.
• Provide orientation and training to new technologists when needed.
