Job summary

HCA Houston Healthcare Conroe is seeking an MRI Technologist to support patient care in our Montgomery County hospital. You will assist physicians and operate MRI equipment to obtain diagnostic images, ensuring patient comfort and safety throughout the procedure.

The role requires Texas licensure, MRI registry and hospital-imaging experience; CT/MRI experience preferred. We offer comprehensive benefits and a strong commitment to community health as part of the HCA system.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited program for Technologist.
• Current licensure or permit in the State of Texas (TDH).
• MRI registry is required within 6 months from date of hire for MRI registry-eligible candidates.
• Minimum of 2 years’ experience in a hospital-imaging department is required.
• 1 year experience in CT or MRI is preferred.
• American Heart Association BLS certification is required.

Responsibilities

• Review and complete paperwork for every patient (exam, scheduling, orders, logs, records, consents, charges).
• Transport patients to and from their rooms and the ER.
• Monitor imaging equipment for mechanical safety.
• Explain procedures to patients to reduce anxieties and obtain cooperation.
• Position patients on the exam table and adjust immobilization devices for optimum views.
• Work as a team and meet the needs of the Diagnostic Imaging Department.
