Job summary

HCT Staffing is assisting a client in recruiting an MRI Technologist. The role involves performing MRI procedures under a radiologist's supervision for ambulatory and hospital patients, following established protocols and safety guidelines.

The MRI Technologist will communicate with patients, prepare the exam, ensure patient comfort, and maintain imaging records in a timely manner. Full-time schedule is Mon-Fri with call requirements, depending on department needs.

Qualifications

• MRI technologist is Certified by ARRT(MR) or ARMRIT or ARRT(R).
• H.S. Diploma or GED required; less than 1 year experience preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs high quality MRI procedures according to exam protocol.
• Explains procedures and puts patients at ease.
• Maintains safety, infection control and clean environment.
• Prepares patient and area, positions patient and operates equipment.
• Maintains supplies and equipment; reports issues to management.
• Maintains imaging records per department policies.
