Job summary

Novant Health is seeking an MRI Technologist I to assist physicians in diagnostic procedures and safely operate MRI equipment to obtain high-quality scans. The role requires preparing patients and ensuring comfort and safety throughout the imaging process.

Ideal candidates have ARRT MR certification or ARRT Radiography certification with MR program training, and at least 1 year of MR experience. A high school diploma or GED is required, with an associate degree preferred.

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• 2 Year/Associate Degree preferred.
• Graduate of ARRT-approved Radiography Program or MR Program required.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients for MRI and operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Assist physicians in diagnostic procedures and ensure patient safety during MR imaging.
