Job summary

Novant Health in Monroe, NC is seeking an MRI Technologist to join our Outpatient Imaging team. You will support physicians by preparing patients, positioning for scans, and safely operating MRI equipment to obtain high-quality diagnostic images.

Ideal candidates have an Associate degree in Radiologic Technology, ARRT MR certification, and at least one year of MR experience; licensure in the state and NH certifications within 6 months of hire.

Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; ARRT MR program required.
• Minimum of one year of MR experience preferred.
• State licensure required; ARRT MR registration within 6 months of hire; NH facilities certifications within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• The MR Technologist will assist physicians in diagnostic/therapeutic procedures by preparing the patient.
• Safely operate MR equipment to obtain diagnostic scans.
• Ensure patient comfort and safety throughout imaging procedures.
