Job summary

CHRISTUS Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced imaging, support colleagues, and facilitate smooth patient flow. The role requires basic MRI screening, QA participation, and adherence to imaging safety and competencies across campuses.

The position entails flexibility in shifts, collaboration with radiologists, and maintaining patient confidentiality while delivering high-quality imaging services in a hospital setting.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or other accepted and approved equivalent required

Responsibilities

• Adapts patient assessment and care to diverse patient needs
• Ensures compliance with policies and standards of care
• Performs examinations to assist patient throughput within licensure and competencies
• Demonstrates flexibility to work other shifts and campuses
• Ensures exams are scanned and stored in PACS
• Follows PACS downtime procedures and escalates issues
• Reports equipment malfunctions to Director/Manager and Biomed personnel
• Performs other duties as assigned

Education

Graduate of an accredited school of Radiology Technology or equivalent

MR certification (ARRT/ARMRIT)

BLS certification
