Job summary

Intermountain Health Alta View Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MRI exams with a focus on patient comfort, safety, and accuracy. You will collaborate with radiologists and clinicians in a fast-paced environment, ensuring high-quality imaging and timely study completion.

Eligible new graduates and cross-trained candidates are encouraged to apply; ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification, plus BLS, are required for employment.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR or ARMRIT or ARRT(R) cross-trained in MR.
• BLS certification required for healthcare providers.
• Prior imaging experience preferred; new graduates welcomed.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI exams per department protocols while ensuring patient safety.
• Prepare patients, verify identity and orders, and educate as needed.
• Review images for quality and complete studies within timeframes.
• Maintain MRI safety standards and infection control; document procedures.
• Train and mentor students and other staff as needed.
