Job summary

UAB Medicine is seeking a Radiologic Technologist specialized in MRI to join our imaging team at UAB Hospital-Highlands. The role focuses on performing MRI procedures under the direction of radiologists and the MRI manager, utilizing advanced equipment and ensuring high-quality patient care in a Level I trauma center.

The candidate must graduate from an ARRT‑accredited Radiology program, with ARRT MRI certification or eligibility within six months of hire.

Qualifications

• Graduate from a Radiology educational program accredited by ARRT.
• Currently registered as a Registered Technologist with MRI Designation (R.T.(MR)(ARRT)) or MRI eligible within six months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI procedures at a technical level with minimal supervision.
• May be assigned duties as interim supervisor or instructor.
