Job summary

Intermountain Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to join the Intermountain Medical Center imaging team in Utah. You will perform MRI examinations, verify orders, and ensure patient safety while delivering high-quality diagnostic imaging.

Required ARRT MR, ARMRIT, and ARRT(R) cross-training with BLS and IV competency. The role offers a 40-hour week, benefits, and potential sign-on and relocation support.

Qualifications

• ARRT MR certification required

• ARRT(R) cross-trained in MRI
• BLS for healthcare providers required
• IV competency within 30 days of hire required

Responsibilities

• Verify patient identity, review orders, and prepare patients for MRI examinations.
• Perform MRI examinations according to department protocols while ensuring patient safety and comfort.
• Operate MRI equipment and related information systems with accurate documentation.
• Follow MRI safety guidelines, infection prevention, and regulatory requirements.
• Collaborate with radiologists and care teams to deliver high-quality patient care.
• Assist with training and mentoring students and team members as needed.
