Qualifications

• Registered as a Technologist (RT) and registered in magnetic resonance imaging (MRI) or registry eligible within 12 months.
• BLS or CPR card must be valid for sixty days post-hire.

Responsibilities

• Reviews patient history and schedules exams.
• Educates patients about procedures to ensure cooperation.
• Monitors patient condition and reports changes.
• Prepares equipment and selects exposure factors.
• Implements safety standards and performs quality control.
• Positions patient and performs imaging procedures.
• Analyzes results and identifies issues with imaging.
