Qualifications

• Associate degree preferred; high school graduate required.
• 1+ year radiology experience preferred.
• ARRT MR certification or equivalent requirements may apply per unit/state.

Responsibilities

• Positions patients accurately and comfortably using immobilization and coil placement to ensure high-quality imaging.
• Prepares and administers IV contrast following safety guidelines and monitors for adverse reactions.
• Follows protocols for patient identification, consent, and time-out procedures before exams.
• Performs high-quality MRI examinations per physician orders and departmental protocols.
• Operates imaging equipment safely, including scanners, injectors and monitors; adapt protocols for patients of all ages.
