Job summary

Southcoast Health System, Inc. is seeking a skilled MRI Technologist for Charlton Memorial Hospital in Fall River, MA. The role involves performing MR imaging, ensuring patient safety, and maintaining high-quality images in a fast-paced, supportive team environment.

Qualifications

• Requires Active ARRT/ARMRIT or CAMRT MR certification within one year of eligibility.
• Must have Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
• Registration with ARRT/ARMRIT or CAMRT within one year of eligibility.
• Vaccination against seasonal influenza and COVID-19 or approved exemption with signed statement.

Responsibilities

• Perform diverse MR imaging procedures with attention to safety and ALARA principles.
• Assess patient needs, position appropriately, and select imaging parameters to produce quality images.
• Educate patients about the exam and prepare or administer contrast or related pharmaceuticals as required.
• Accurately document findings and maintain the EHR with exam data and patient information.
