Job summary

South Shore Health is seeking a part-time MRI Technologist to perform routine and advanced MRI procedures with strict safety practices and high accuracy in Weymouth, MA. The role requires ARRT MRI registration or ARMRIT eligibility, 1–2 years of radiologic technologist experience, and BLS/ACLS certifications.

Flexibility to cover varied shifts and off-site locations is expected. The candidate will prepare patients, administer IV contrast as needed, and collaborate with radiologists to confirm

Qualifications

• Must be ARRT MRI registered or ARMRIT eligible.
• 1–2 years’ Radiologic Technologist experience; CT experience preferred.
• BLS and ACLS certifications required.
• Flexibility to work overtime/holidays and to float to SSH off-sites.

Responsibilities

• Prepare patients and position for MRI.
• Perform MRI exams with 100% accuracy following protocols.
• Record QA results and report equipment issues to MRI management.
• Manage contrast injections and monitor for adverse reactions.
• Instruct patients on MR safety and ensure a safe MRI environment.
• Document information in Epic and use PACS/DynaCad for post-processing.
