Job summary

Corewell Health Trenton Hospital is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform diagnostic MR exams under general supervision, using appropriate imaging equipment and techniques, in a patient-centered environment.

The ideal candidate will have an associate degree, JRCERT radiography or JRCNMT accreditation, and ARRT/MRI certifications, with 1–3 years of clinical MRI experience; on-site schedule includes evenings and every third weekend, with a comprehensive benefits package.

Qualifications

• Associate’s degree or equivalent.
• Graduate of JRCERT Accredited Radiography program or JRCNMT.
• 1 year of relevant experience.
• 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.

Responsibilities

• Performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing imaging equipment and techniques.
• Follows Patient and Family Centered Care principles during imaging procedures.
• Maintains safety and quality standards for MR imaging.

About Corewell Health Trenton Hospital Corewell Health Hospital Trenton is a 193-bed acute care teaching hospital that sponsors nine university-affiliated residency programs. The hospital opened its doors to Trenton and its surrounding communities in 1961. It became part of Corewell Health in September 2014. In addition to providing comprehensive medical and surgical care for its patients, the hospital offers all private beds, a medical and surgical intensive care unit and obstetrical care.

Scope of Work

Under general supervision and according to established policies and procedures performs diagnostic MR exams utilizing appropriate imaging equipment and techniques. Follows Beaumont philosophy of Patient and Family Centered Care at all times.

Qualifications

Associate’s degree or equivalent. Graduate of Joint Review Committee on Education in Radiologic Technology (JRCERT) Accredited Radiography program or the Joint Review Committee on Educational Programs in Nuclear Medicine Technology (JRCNMT) Required. 1 year of relevant experience. 1-3 years clinical experience beyond staff radiographer level preferred.
