INTEGRIS Health Southwest Medical Center - MRI Technologist

This position offers Monday through Friday, 1:30 PM - 10:00 PM, working with our MRI team to provide exceptional patient care.

Responsibilities

• Perform complex and technical MRI imaging and general radiology procedures.
• Adhere to National Patient Safety Goals.
• Perform body imaging and diagnostic procedures involved in MRI.
• Assist with equipment calibration and quality control.
• Position and transfer patients safely, considering their physical needs.
• Assist radiologists with advanced procedures.
• Explain procedures to patients and answer questions.
• Support all imaging modalities as needed.
• Administer radiographic contrast following physician requests and departmental policies.
• Prepare for IV insertions, including setup, insertion, and positioning, maintaining aseptic technique.

Reporting and Physical Demands

Report to the Lead CT/MRI Technologist or Operations Manager/Director. This role may involve physical demands such as lifting, and exposure to hazards like radiation, chemicals, and infectious materials. Safety precautions must always be followed.

Qualifications

• Current certification by the American Registry of Radiologic Technologists or American Registry of Magnetic Resonance Imaging Technologists.
• Magnetic Resonance Imaging certification required within 12 months of hire.
• CPR certification required within 90 days of hire.
• Effective communication skills in English (verbal and written).
