Qualifications
Completion of an accredited 2-year program in Radiologic, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine Technology.
Registered Technologist MRI (ARRT-MR) or equivalent certifications are required.
Responsibilities
Perform MRI scans as directed by radiologist.
Provide age-specific care to patients from neonates through geriatrics.
Maintain knowledge of technical skills and assure a safe environment.
Skills
Knowledge of MRI equipment and safety in MRI environment
Knowledge of sterile and surgical procedures
Basic knowledge of oxygen tanks, suction machine and emergency equipment
Education
Associate's Degree in Radiologic, MRI, or Nuclear Medicine Technology
High School Equivalent / GED
