Job summary

Lee Health in Fort Myers, FL is seeking an MRI Technologist to perform MRI procedures in outpatient centers or hospital settings. You will operate MRI scanners and injector systems, maintain equipment, and apply knowledge of anatomy to support diagnostic image quality, while providing compassionate patient care.

Lead Technologist roles are available for those ready to grow beyond staff positions. You will join a collaborative imaging team focused on safety, education, performance improvement,

Qualifications

• Graduation of JRCERT Accredited or ARRT approved Radiography or MRI degree program.
• Florida Radiologic Technologist License for radiology techs only. MRI degree for non-radiology techs.
• BLS (American Heart Association / Basic Life Support) Required
• ARRT Registered or eligible required.

Responsibilities

• Perform MRI scans, operate MRI scanner/injector systems, and produce diagnostic-quality MR images.
• Maintain and troubleshoot MR scanner software and equipment.
• Apply knowledge of MR anatomy, pathology and physiology to support image quality.
• Provide compassionate patient care: ensure comfort, safety, efficient workflow.
• Participate in performance improvement efforts, student/staff orientation.

Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$28.94 - $39.50 / hour PLUS Shift Differential

What You Will Do:

• Perform MRI scans, operate MRI scanner/injector systems, and produce diagnostic-quality MR images
• Maintain and troubleshoot MR scanner software and equipment
• Apply knowledge of MR anatomy, pathology and physiology to support image quality
• Provide compassionate patient care: ensure comfort, safety, efficient workflow
• Participate in performance improvement efforts, student/staff orientation
• Occasionally perform tasks such as venipuncture for applicable MRI exams and non-narcotic medication transport (depending on site)
