Beth Israel Lahey Health is seeking a seasoned MRI Technologist to join our Plymouth, MA team. Evening shift (2:30p-11:00p) with rotating weekends and holidays; position includes rotating on-call as part of a 40-hour week.

The role demands two years of MRI experience, ARRT MR registration, strong patient communication, and the ability to work efficiently under pressure while maintaining safety and image quality. PT staff collaboration with radiologists is essential.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited MRI program or ARRT MR registration.
• Two years MRI experience; GE MRI experience preferred.
• Ability to work at a quick pace with minimal supervision.

Responsibilities

• Performs all technical and mechanical aspects of MRI, including positioning and factors.
• Assess and recognize normal/abnormal anatomy, tailoring exam scope.
• Review exams with Radiologist and contribute technical knowledge.
• Display knowledge of MRI principles and respond to emergencies.
• Communicate effectively with patients, families, staff and physicians.
• Proficient in venipuncture and point-of-care testing.
• QA and maintenance on Point of Care equipment; cross-train to CT.
