Job summary

RAYUS Radiology is seeking an MRI Technologist in Plymouth, Minnesota. In this full-time role, you will operate MRI scanners to produce images for diagnostic purposes while ensuring excellent patient care and safety standards. The position includes a Monday to Friday schedule with evening shifts and weekend rotations, plus training opportunities in MRI.

The ideal candidate will have relevant qualifications including an AMA-approved education and ARRT or ARMRIT certification. Benefits such as medical insurance, 401(k), and tuition reimbursement are offered.

Qualifications

• High School diploma, or equivalent.
• Graduate of an American Medical Association (AMA) approved school of radiography.
• ARRT or ARMRIT registered technologist, current and in good standing.
• Licensed Radiological Technologist in the appropriate state.
• Current Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) certification.
• Must have sufficient training and experience to competently perform MRI procedures independently.
• Certification in imaging specialty.

Responsibilities

• Screens patients for any precautions before MRI exam.
• Explains procedures and prepares patients for MRI.
• Performs routine and advanced MRI procedures and maintains patient support.
• Adjusts MRI scan parameters as needed.
• Maintains records within Radiology Information System (RIS).
• Cleans and maintains MRI equipment.
• Assists with maintaining medical supply inventory and training of new team members.
