Job summary

Beth Israel Deaconess Hospital Plymouth is seeking a qualified MRI Technologist for the Evening shift (2:30 p.m.–11:00 p.m.) in Plymouth, MA. This full-time role requires attention to patient communication, patient safety, and accurate imaging.

You'll work 40 hours per week and rotate weekends and holidays as needed. The candidate must have an accredited MRI program graduate, ARRT MR, BLS, and MRI experience; cross-train to CT; perform venipuncture and Point of Care testing; participate in QA,

Qualifications

• Two years MRI experience required.
• MRI registration/ARRT MR preferred.
• Graduate of accredited MRI program and/or ARRT MR certification.

Responsibilities

• Performs all technical aspects of MRI including positioning and factors.
• Assess normal/abnormal anatomy and tailor scope of exam.
• Review exams with Radiologist and contribute technical knowledge.
• Demonstrates knowledge of MRI principles and patient communication.
• Responds to emergencies and works under pressure.
• Perform venipuncture and Point of Care Testing.
• Responsible for QA and maintenance on Point of Care equipment.
• Cross-train to CT as needed.
