Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center is seeking a Radiology Technologist for an evening shift (Tue–Fri, 3:00 pm–1:30 am). The role performs imaging examinations with attention to patient needs and radiation safety, ensuring high-quality images and ALARA practices.

The position requires Oregon radiography licensure (or temporary) with ARRT certification within 6 months and BLS. A sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions.

Qualifications

• Education to meet certification, license or registration requirement.
• Oregon Radiographer License (per hire)
• Oregon Radiographer Temporary License (per hire)
• ARRT certification within 6 months of hire
• National Provider BLS - American Heart Association notes apply to new grads.

Responsibilities

• Performs imaging examinations per physician orders using radiology equipment.
• Accounts for patient age and needs, positions patient and calibrates techniques.
• Maintains ALARA principles to minimize radiation exposure to patient and staff.
