Job summary

The position requires strict adherence to MR safety, documentation, patient identification, and coordination with physicians to ensure accurate imaging and proper data management in RIS and ISITE systems.

• Maintains MR safety in the department.
• Maintains clinical competencies for all exams and equipment.

Responsibilities

• Practices MR safety in the department.
• Maintains clinical competencies for all exams and equipment.
• Performs procedures for reviewing processing and archiving.
• Pre-exam: reads and presents relevant information to the physician based on protocol.
• ID patients using two identifiers and uses universal protocol for procedures.
• Communicates with patients clearly to explain procedures and reduce fear.
• Ensures exams are properly coded and documented in RIS and ISITE for archiving and interpretation.
