Job summary

Sentara CarePlex Hospital in Hampton, VA is seeking an MRI Technologist for full-time, evening shift. The role performs MRI examinations, ensures safety, maintains supplies, and documents procedures under supervision. Eligible candidates may have a CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT certification and BLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of a 24-month radiologic technology program (required).
• Completion of MRI school or MRI certificate program preferred.
• CNMT/ARDMS/ARRT/ARMRIT certification required with MR registry within 2 years.

Responsibilities

• Perform general MRI examinations and ensure safety of MRI area.
• Explain procedures to patients and complete departmental documentation.
• Administer MRI contrast per protocol and review patient safety forms.
• Maintain inventory and liaise with physicians and care staff.
