The role involves performing general MRI examinations, explaining procedures to patients, and maintaining safety and documentation. Responsibilities include MRI contrast administration, safety screening review, patient records management, and collaboration with physicians and care staff to ensure high-quality imaging and patient care.

Qualifications

• Trade School Graduate - Radiologic Technology (Required).
• Completion of MRI school/MRI certificate program (Preferred).
• CNMT, ARDMS, ARRT, or ARMRIT (Required).
• Must obtain ARRT MR advanced registry or ARMRIT within 2 years of hire.
• BLS

Responsibilities

• Performs general MRI examinations while maintaining safety integrity of MRI operational area for all persons including staff and customers.
• Explains examination and procedure to patient and completes departmental documentation.
• Provide quality MRI imaging to patients under the direction of a supervising physician with adherence to protocol standards.
• Administration of MRI contrast per protocol, evaluates safety screening forms, reviews patient records for accuracy, and liaises with physicians and care staff.
