Job summary

Qualifications

• High School Diploma or GED required.
• ARRT MRI Certification or ARRT MRI certificate required at hire.
• Washington-branch radiologic technologist certification preferred/required by state law.

Responsibilities

• Operates MRI equipment following safety standards and physician orders.
• Positions patients to obtain optimal diagnostic images while ensuring comfort and empathy.
• Maintains MRI room readiness, supplies, and equipment per manufacturer specifications.
• Provides patient education on procedures and anticipated sensations as needed.
• Ensures compliance with radiation safety, infection control, and regulatory policies.
