Job summary

Tuba City Regional Health Care Corporation is seeking an experienced MRI Technologist to perform MRI and MRA procedures, support patient flow, and provide high-quality diagnostic imaging.

The facility serves the western Navajo and Hopi Reservations and offers a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty services. Travel contract with 13 weeks, start Nov 16, 2026, end Feb 15, 2027.

Qualifications

• AMA-approved school of Radiology completion required.
• Arizona State Radiology License active.
• ARRT Radiography certification — RT(R) required.
• ARRT MRI certification — MR required.
• AHA BLS/BCLS certification required.
• Minimum 3 years MRI procedure experience.
• Experience with PACS/RIS systems and general computer programs.

The facility serves communities across the western Navajo and Hopi Reservations and provides a broad range of inpatient, outpatient, emergency, and specialty services.

Key Responsibilities

Perform general MRI and MRA procedures as required.

Prepare patients for imaging examinations and explain procedures.

Operate MRI equipment safely and obtain diagnostic-quality images.

Follow patient safety protocols and applicable imaging standards.

Maintain accurate imaging documentation and patient records.

Work with PACS/RIS systems and general computer applications.

Qualifications

Successful completion of radiology training from an AMA-approved school of Radiology.

Current, active Arizona State Radiology License.

Current ARRT Radiography certification — RT(R).

Current ARRT MRI certification — MR.

Current American Heart Association (AHA) BLS/BCLS certification.

Minimum of 3 years of MRI procedure experience.

Experience with PACS/RIS systems, email, and general computer programs.

Active credentials must be maintained throughout the assignment.

Holiday coverage is required.

Orientation occurs every two weeks.

COVID-19 and flu vaccination exemption requests may be accepted after the required declination form is submitted.

The housing application must be submitted at least two weeks before the start date through Medefis.

Candidates must be prepared to work the full Tuesday–Friday schedule.
