Job summary

Great River Health is hiring an MRI Technologist to operate MRI scanners and produce high-quality diagnostic images. You will follow safety guidelines, document scan sequences, and ensure patient comfort throughout the imaging process.

Qualified candidates will have ARRT licensure, MRI board certification within a year if not already certified, and BLS. Prior MRI experience and healthcare exposure are preferred. This role requires flexibility for varied hours at Great River Health facilities.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited school of radiologic technology or MRI.
• ARRT license required.
• MRI board certification within 1 year of hire if not already acquired.
• BLS Healthcare Provider certification required.
• May be required: call rotation, weekend, or irregular shifts.

Responsibilities

• Ensure thorough MRI safety screening.
• Operate and oversee MRI equipment to produce diagnostic images.
• Document scan sequences and adjust parameters in the computer.
• Position and immobilize patient on scanner table.
• Explain procedures and monitor patient safety and comfort during scans.
• Take accurate patient medical histories.
• Maintain regular and reliable attendance.
