Hackensack Meridian Health is seeking an MRI Technologist to produce diagnostic MRI images and support patient care in a fast-paced hospital environment in New Jersey. You will operate MRI equipment, ensure safety, obtain consent, administer contrast, and collaborate with physicians to optimize imaging quality.

Ideal candidates have an ARRT MR certification or equivalent, strong communication skills, and proficiency with EMR/PACS systems.

Qualifications

• GED or high school diploma required; radiography/MRI training completed.
• ARRT MR or ARMRIT certification within 9 months of starting.
• Excellent written and verbal communication; proficient with EMR/PACS.

Responsabilités

• Reviews patient chart and physician order to determine imaging parameters.
• Selects proper imaging coil for the study to optimize results.
• Performs imaging studies using appropriate scanning techniques and protocols.
• Administers contrast media following department protocols.
• Ensures MRI safety and screens patients for contraindications.
