Job summary

INDSURGIMG MRI department is seeking a dedicated MRI Technologist I to perform routine MRI procedures, ensure patient safety, and produce high-quality diagnostic images. The role involves operating and maintaining MRI equipment, addressing patient concerns, and supporting the radiology team to achieve optimal imaging results.

Candidates should have completed an accredited MRI program with 0–2 years of experience; ARRT or ARMRIT certification eligibility is expected, along with BCLS.

Qualifications

• Graduate of an accredited Radiologic Technology or MRI program.
• 0–2 years of clinical MRI experience required.

Responsibilities

• Performs MRI procedures according to orders and protocols.
• Reviews patient histories to identify contraindications.
• Operates MRI equipment safely and maintains quality images.
• Educates patients and addresses questions for comfort.
• Maintains MRI safety zones and readiness before scans.
• Documents clinical history and exam findings for radiologist review.
• Maintains inventory and sterility of MRI supplies.
