Job summary

Bellingham Advanced Medical Imaging, LLC. in Mount Vernon, WA seeks an MRI Technologist for full-time day shift to perform MR imaging procedures and ensure patient safety according to site radiologist protocols.

Requirements include ARRT MRI certification, CPR, a certified radiology technologist program, and a minimum of 2 years MRI experience, plus a high school diploma or GED. The role involves patient care, contrast administration under supervision, and accurate documentation in PACS.

Qualifications

• High School diploma or GED required.
• Successful completion of a certified radiology technologist program.
• Current ARRT certification with MRI specialty.
• Current CPR certification for healthcare providers; minimum 2 years MRI experience.

Responsibilities

• Perform MR imaging procedures following site radiologist protocols.
• Complete and sign patient screening forms and explain procedures.
• Obtain patient consent prior to procedures.
• Maintain patient care, comfort and safety during exams.
• Administer contrast agents as directed by the radiologist.
• Ensure images and reports are uploaded to PACS promptly.
• Maintain equipment and report issues; enforce MRI safety.
• Communicate schedule changes to front desk; provide excellent patient service.
• May work in other imaging modalities as needed.
