Job summary

Providence Newberg Medical Center in Newberg, OR is seeking a full-time MRI Technologist for day shifts (Fri–Sun). The role performs MRI examinations per physician orders, using advanced MRI equipment while accommodating patient needs to obtain high-quality images.

A $6,000 sign-on bonus is available for eligible external candidates who meet payment conditions. Required licenses include OR MRI license or temporary license, BLS, ARRT MRI certification or ARMRIT certification, with license

Qualifications

• Oregon MRI Technologist License or Temporary License required upon hire.
• BLS certification from American Heart Association upon hire.
• National Certification from ARRT within 6 months of hire or National Certified MRI Technologist from AMRT within 6 months of hire.
• New graduates must obtain OBMI temporary license and convert to permanent license within 6 months of hire.

Responsibilities

• Perform Magnetic Resonance examinations according to physician orders.
• Utilize MRI equipment with attention to imaging factors and patient needs to produce optimal images.
